Mapledurham House wedding
“Just want to say you guys were the best, amazing people to work with and so easy. We are so glad we picked you for the wedding to make our day even better. Glenn Xxx”
Karen & Glenn’s fun Mapledurham House wedding
The 12th century Elizabethan Manor House makes for a truly impressive venue and is tucked in beside the Thames in the heart of a quintessential English village. It’s a world away from the hustle and bustle and Mapledurham was the ideal pick for their special day. And what a day it was!
The formalities started at Mapledurham’s stunning 13th century St Margarets Church, which is a short walk from the Mapledurham Watermill. The Mill was the last working watermill on the Thames and offered the perfect backdrop for the drinks reception and fun-filled group pictures. I really enjoyed taking the images at the this spot. Karen and Glenn were super-relaxed and the love and chemistry between them really shines on through for the couple shots. The wedding breakfast was a stroll along the majestic main drive to their reception which was set on the grounds. This allowed them to chill with their family and friends and the whole day then really clicked into gear.

It really was just one of those picture perfect weddings. The weather could not have been better, the venue was stunning, all the suppliers were great and the couple – along with all of their friends and family – were a delight.
Thank you once again to Karen and Glenn for a wonderful day filled with love. It was a pleasure to be part of and here’s wishing you all the happiness for the future as you start out on your married life together. Love Ria x
