Polish wedding in Jasna Gora Monastery

Jasna Gora Monastery in Częstochowa is not only a place of spiritual transformation and an outstanding architectural gem, but also a cherished pilgrimage destination for millions from around the world. No wonder Iz & Adrian picked the stunning location for their couple shots.

The Monastery

The “Bright Hill’s” Black Madonna is said to have miraculously saved the monastery from a Swedish invasion and us from the summer downpour. The remarkable Baroque architecture offered a majestic backdrop. I did my recce nice and early, leaving the site super inspired. I knew the intricate details, arches, towers, and courtyards would make for dramatic and elegant photos. The one thing I did not account for is that the millions of pilgrims who visit the sanctuary each year would mainly turn up on the 17th of August 2024 :).

With carefully positioning the lovely newlyweds and with very little PhotShopping – we have managed to create timeless and tranquil couple shots. Congratulations once again, Iz & Adrian. Thanks again for having me and welcoming me to your family and family home. xx
