The average wedding has roughly 100 or more guests in attendance, so a wedding with a guest list under 50 people is generally considered a small wedding. Some couple elopes with close relatives, some with their photographer present to witness their marriage abroad at a destination wedding. Either way these occasions are private and intimate.
My approach to intimate weddings
The natural look is my preferred style. This means that nothing should be more important than your marriage and the chemistry between the two of you on your wedding day. My wedding photography captures the close relationship and togetherness while brings smiles to the faces of the happy couples.
Top tips for small weddings
- Pick a location that has a special meaning to you: Your family home, your favourite beach destination, the hotel you got engaged ….
- Chose a venue with a highly rated restaurant if you are a foodie or a wine lover.
- Writhe your own vows.
- Personalise wedding invitations and presents.
- Last but not least have fun, tons of it!
